The American Society for the Preservation of C10’s (ASPC10) was established in 2025 by Charlie, also known as Broke Dad Builds, a United States military veteran and lifelong automotive enthusiast and former ASE Certified L1 Master Mechanic. ASPC10 was founded with a dual mission: to unite and educate individuals who share a passion for classic GM trucks and to make a meaningful contribution to the community through charitable initiatives and outreach.

The inspiration behind ASPC10 originated when Charlie launched his Broke Dad Builds YouTube and social media platforms in early 2025. What began as a personal project to document the restoration of his Chevrolet C10 evolved into a broader effort to connect and inspire others who value the history, craftsmanship, and culture surrounding these classic vehicles.

Today, ASPC10 serves as a welcoming community for all enthusiasts, collectors, restorers, and admirers of classic Chevrolet / GM C10 trucks. Through collaboration, education, and preservation, we are committed to safeguarding the legacy of these timeless vehicles while promoting fellowship and community service.
