Through your donations and memberships, 80% of all proceeds go directly toward sourcing and restoring a classic Chevrolet / GM truck or C10 to be gifted to a deserving hero; a wounded or disabled veteran, first responder, teacher or community champion.
(Each restoration and giveaway is dependent on achieving adequate funding and donations.)
Our members and ambassadors proudly represent ASPC10 at local events, car shows, and community gatherings.
They share our mission, promote preservation of the classic truck culture, and help educate the importance of keeping these historic vehicles alive all while following ASPC10’s Code of Ethics.
We rely on a network of Chevrolet truck owners, enthusiasts, and skilled professionals to help us identify potential trucks suitable for restoration.
Members and partner businesses often contribute tips, vehicles, or expertise that make each year’s giveaway possible.

Once a vehicle is secured, ASPC10 coordinates the entire *restoration process through our trusted network of members, ambassadors, and business partners.
Together, we plan the repair work, secure locations, and ensure the vehicle meets high restoration standards before being presented to its new hero.
Each year, the ASPC10 Leadership Board and Members review applications from individuals nominated by the community.
After careful consideration, members vote to select the hero who will receive the fully restored classic Chevrolet / GM truck or C10 symbolizing gratitude and community appreciation.
The ASPC10 Training Initiative provides hands on automotive repair and restoration education to veterans, students, and underrepresented individuals seeking career or life skills. Participants gain practical experience by assisting with the restoration of classic vehicles culminating in community projects such as the Truck for a Hero giveaway
Depending on funding, parts availability, and other constraints, the restoration may not always be a full frame off show quality restoration as it may focus on the most critical repairs to make the truck reliable, safe and presentable.
